R&D Projects

S.A.R.A.

Goal: To undertake a holistic research path for the study of the interrelationships of 3 sectors (Health, Environment, Agriculture), not yet widely investigated at an international level. To create a multidomain competence center in Puglia aimed at being one of the nodes of European research infrastructures for the acquisition and interpretation of data in the reference fields. Studying interactions between domains (health, environment and agriculture) using international frameworks (OneHealth, AirQ +, …) in accordance with the Horizon Europe research objectives and in line with the FNH-RI and METROFOOD-RI frameworks. Innovate the processes of conception, planning, implementation and provision of services by giving the final recipient a central role by anticipating their involvement through the application of the user-driven open innovation methodology.

Goal: creation of a highly specialized infrastructure that brings together all the best skills, professionalism, tools and experience to provide services and solutions of big data analysis, through techniques and solutions of machine learning and deep learning algorithms, tools of data visualization and dashboard tailor made. The objective of the project is to design and implement a technological hub capable of handling and processing any type of data, coming from any specific domain of expertise, providing solutions and services of data-science according to paradigms that can vary from full-outsourcing to the development of entire software solutions “tailor made”, which cover the overall life cycle of the data from its genesis to its historicization, through the in-depth analysis and generation of knowledge. The first data science solutions conceived will focus on the sectors of health care, public administration, insurance and finance.

Goal: development of an information solution that can effectively and efficiently support Human Life Cycle Management, i.e. an infrastructure capable of providing continuous support to the care needs of citizens during their lifetime, trying to reduce, if possible, to cancel the information darkness of current health systems. The objective is to allow medicine to be not only “Personalized” (i.e. person-centric), but also “Predictive” (temporal evolution of the models and their increasing and gradually more precise representativeness of the real situation) and therefore structurally “Preventive” as well as “Participatory” precisely because it is centered on the “Person”.

Goal: creation of a cyber defense solution that, starting from a set of input information related to specific applications, through the paradigms of predictive analysis, machine learning and AI, is able to provide information on the pre-existing quality status of the software analyzed (AS-IS) and provide predictions on the risks and frequency of malfunctions in the software modules, and through the analysis of application logs detection of suspicious activities.

SMART MAIL SHARING

The project intercepts the trajectory of priority interest Systems and Solutions for Secure Information Sharing as it aims to increase the level of security in sharing information that, every day, travels in hundreds of thousands of e-mails from the PCs of public and private employees. This goal is expected to be achieved with the use of artificial intelligence technologies capable of identifying Named Entities.
